Loneliness eats away at your heart
Making the body yearn to be touched
Or close to another
To talk to or just look at someone
Is satisfying enough for
Someone who is alone, but not for the lonely
If ever these to merged, we would realize that
Hopelessness settles here
Because being alone and lonely
Is a heart shattering existence

Giving everything it takes
But happiness with one’s own life and being happy
